SITREP 2
A ship carrying Ethanol has experienced a catastrophic explosion, and is now sinking off the coast of Virginia. Tomcats dispatched have located 3 survivors that are awaiting assistance. A search must take place for any remaining crew. We need not only rescue choppers, but choppers to transport divers to the scene as well.
The mission will begin at the USS Eisenhower (CVN-69 off Oceana). The shipwreck has occured 41.4 Nautical Miles East/NorthEast of the VOR/DME Cape Charles, CCV, on frequency 112.20. The shipwreck location is N37*26.98 W75*09.05.
This is a long flight at 55 stat miles, and 41.4NM from the VOR. If you can buddy up for the mission the better off you will be. Turn Real World weather on to experience conditions similiar to those the pilots may be experiencing.
Survivors will be brought back to Norfolk NS (KNGU) for immediate departure to the Norfolk hospital. Time is of the essence, let's get moving. Good Luck Crew!!
